Amazing experience with Harlan. I woke up to no heat and called. George was down within 2 hours and spent so much time diagnosing the issue to make sure he knew exactly what was wrong. Other places might just try to throw parts at the furnace, but he wanted to make sure it got done right the first time. My unit is old so he drove across town to get the right parts, came right back and made sure it was working. He even gave me some tips on proper filter usage and checked the thermostat wires to tighten them up. At the end of all of that, the price was extremely reasonable and probably 1/2 of what those franchise HVAC places would have charged me. Highly recommend Harlan Heating & Cooling for your home.

We have been managing a rental home in South Bend from out of state for several years. It's our first family home so it's meant a great deal to us sentimentally. I don't remember how we found him, but George Harlan has been a blessing to us. From small repairs to a recent A/C replacement he just finished, his work has been top notch. On top of that, he's a good communicator. He answers the phone quickly and always calls back. He sends texts when he can't get in touch. And he provides as much detail as you want. On top of that, his rates seem to beat everyone else! In one word, when I think of George, I think: trustworthy. And that has meant the world to our family!

After spending over a week getting quotes from other companies we highly recommend Harlen.  Our old AC system quit working right in the middle of the heat wave and needed replacing. All the other companies took more time to come out and then pressured us with sales tactics and high prices. Harlen came right out evaluated the situation with no needless sales pitches and did all the work the next day at a very fair price with good quality equipment. Very pleased !

I can’t Thank George enough!!! He got to my house before I did. It was an incredible difficult wiring issue that probably should have hired a contractor . He took his time, was patient and diligent in the repair . I think most  people would have walked away from the job. Not only did he successfully fix it the pricing was beyond reasonable . Five stars!  The A/C wasn't keeping up as well as it used to, especially during the high heat this June. I thought the worst... It turns out that my A/C unit is fine, but the coils were very dirty. George did a complete checkup and cleaned the coils. Personable, professional service at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend Harlan Heating and Cooling.

We came home late from out of town and turned the furnace on for the first time and went to bed.  We woke up to a very cold house and realized the furnace was not working. We called Harland Heating and Cooling at 9:00 am and George showed up at 11:00am as he said he would. The furnace was kaput and George said he would replace it ASAP, but it might take a few days.  To our surprise, George showed the next day with a building permit and a new furnace. Four hours later, we were warm and cozy.  I appreciated how he prioritized our dilemma. George is dependable and reliable which builds trust.
